Several months of investigating has led to the arrest of three individuals. The Fairfield Police Department arrested 48-year-old Edward Wayne Curtis, 42-year-old Cameron Mitchell Cooksey and 48-year-old Earl Keith Blair last week for the sale or distribution of methamphetamine.
The three Fairfield residents are each charged with two felonies, conspiracy to deliver more than five grams of meth and delivery of less than five grams of meth. According to Jefferson County Assistant Attorney, Pat McAven, those felonies combined carry a maximum prison sentence of 35 years.
Additional arrests and charges are expected as police continue their investigation.
