The WMU volleyball team played a pair of games last night, and wound up with the split.

The Wolves played West Burlington first, and lost 25-20 and 26-24. They then played Pekin and won in three sets, losing the first one 25-23, winning set two 25-20 and winning the tiebreaker 16-14.

Nicole Escher led the team in kills with 15, while Caitlin Jamison had 32 assists, Lou Krieger Coen had five aces and Samantha Jamison led the team with 23 digs.

WMU is now 1-1 and plays at the West Branch tournament tomorrow.
