Work is progressing on a two-story tall mural in downtown Washington. The wall that is being transformed into public art is now cleaned and primed, awaiting paint. The project is located by the Washington Public Library’s book drop off in the alley. Director of the Library, Debbie Stanton explains the work is being painted by Erin Rappleye, a Master of Fine Arts candidate at the University of Iowa. The design is an original piece based on the Horsehead Nebula.
