The cause of death for a Washington man who was found in the remains of a cabin following a fire has been released. According to the State Fire Marshal, 65-year-old Kenneth Smith died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning due to smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is undetermined. Washington County Sheriff Jerry Dunbar confirmed the subject was identified by dental records. The fire occurred the morning of September 4th at 2585 275th Street.
