Candidates on November’s ballot are stopping in Washington today. Congressman Dave Loebsack , Senator and candidate for Governor Jack Hatch, candidate for Secretary of Agriculture Sherrie Taha, candidate for Senate District 39 Kevin Kinney and candidate for House District 78 John Greener are set to speak at a fundraiser this afternoon. The Washington County Democratic Party is hosting the event at their headquarters located on the east side of the square.

November 4th, voters will decide between Loebsack and Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Hatch and current Governor Terry Branstad, Taha and Secretary of Ag Bill Northey, Greener and incumbent Jarad Klein, as well as Kinney and Washington resident Michael Moore. In some of those races there are third party candidates affiliated with the Iowa Party, Libertarian Party and New Independent Party of Iowa.
