Evidence has linked a Mount Pleasant man to a drive-by shooting that occurred Thursday night. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 9:45 of two female individuals being shot at on 265th Street in Mount Pleasant. Officers located 28-year-old Phil Grandinetti near the crime scene and took him into custody. The handgun used in the crime was found at the suspect’s home during a search that followed the arrest. Grandinetti is charged with Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, a class c felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison. The defendant bonded out of the Henry County Jail Friday.
