Staff at the Kalona Historical Village are busy preparing for this weekend’s Fall Festival. The event is held on the village grounds located off of Highway 22 in Kalona.

Nancy Roth organizes the annual festival. She says there will be live entertainment, including a performance from local family the Bontrager Family Singers, a trio from Kalona and country musician Jake Gill.

In addition to the planned activities, the village’s 15 buildings and two quilt rooms will be open to the public. The Fall Festival is being held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
