Here is a look at the KCII Scoreboard from Monday September 22nd.

Two South Iowa Cedar Conference volleyball matchups took place Monday in the KCII listening area.

The Keota Eagles hosted Tri County Thornburg Trojans Monday evening in single match play. Keota would come away with the victory in straight sets (25-22, 25-13, 25-7). Senior Madison Scheetz lead the way with 20 kills and 4 aces in the victory. The win improves Keota to 10-3 overall and the Eagles have now won five straight matches, and will travel to Montezuma High school Thursday for a match with the Braves.

And the Sigourney Savages traveled to B-G-M high school for a match up with the Bears. Sigourney would win in four sets (25-20, 19-25, 26-24, 25-12). The win brings Sigourney’s overall record above .500 at 5-4 ends the Savages short two game losing streak. Sigourney will return to action on Thursday for a conference match with Tri County Thornburg.
