The Mid Prairie Volleyball team played Cascade last night. The Golden Hawks were swept in the game, but had some close sets in the match. First set and third set losing just by two 23- 25 and losing the second set 20-25. Mid Prairie Coach Cindy Miller says it was heartbreaking to see them lose those two games by just two points each against a ranked caliber team. Ali Butters had her best game of the year getting five kills, two blocks, and a dig. Taylor Kurtz had nine kills, four blocks, three digs and was 9-11 with three aces on serves. Ashley Sojka who was named homecoming queen on Wednesday night had 15 digs, and was 14-15 with an ace serving. The Golden Hawks will play at Washington next Thursday.
