Over three inches of rain fell in Washington Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Overnight approximately 1.92 inches of precipitation were recorded, more than half of the 3.29-inch total. According to the National Weather Service, so far this September Washington has received 3.84 inches of rain, nearly three times the 1.25-inch normal. So far this year, Washington has had just over 32 inches of precipitation and the norm is just over 27 inches. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
