WMU Volleyball Places Third in Weekend Tournament

The WMU volleyball team headed to a tournament at West Branch on Saturday, and came away with a third place finish.

Wildcat Cross Country Shows Well at First Meet

The Columbus Junction cross country team had their first run of the year on Saturday when they traveled to Cedar Rapids Prairie.

The Wildcats were the only 1A team at the meet, but showed pretty well. Josh Keller was the top runner for the boys, finishing 12th in 18:02, and his teammate Adrian Santos was 16th in 18:37.

On the girls’ side it was Ashley Canny finishing in 27th in 19:52, and Claire Hamilton finishing right behind her in 29th in 18:37.

Columbus Junction hosts the Bob Brown Invitational on Thursday.

More Teens Trying E-Cigarettes
