Volunteers with the 47th WACO C.R.O.P. drive will begin collecting donations Sunday. C.R.O.P. stands for Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty. C.R.O.P. walks are held across the country as a way to raise money for charities that benefit those dealing with poverty in the United States and around the world. Instead of a walk, volunteers with the WACO fundraiser go door to door. Larry Roth is the director of the annual fundraiser. He says those living within WACO School District donated $33,000 last year.
