Two more homes are needed for Washington’s 24th annual Tour of Homes this holiday season or the event will be canceled. Assistant Director of the Washington Chamber of Commerce Dani Kane says they are still in need of “a Christmas hero or two.” The proceeds from the tickets sales for the tour pays for the lights around the tops of the buildings in downtown Washington each holiday season.

Washington Chamber of Commerce Director Michelle Redlinger explains any kind of home can be on the tour from new builds to historical, as it is about the spirit of the holidays. The event is scheduled for the first weekend in December and those who participate receive a holiday arrangement from Wolf Floral, discounts for decorations at local retailers and a dinner.

The Chamber is asking for any home owners in or near Washington interested in participating to contact them as soon as possible and will announce Friday whether the event will be held or not.
