One or two more homes are still needed to save Washington’s 24th annual Tour of Homes this holiday season. Assistant Director of the Washington Chamber of Commerce Dani Kane explains any kind of home could be part of the event from new builds to country homes to historical homes. It is a chance to show how you celebrate and decorate for the holidays.
The proceeds from the tickets are used to run and maintain the lights around the tops of the buildings in downtown Washington. The event is held the first weekend in December and homeowners who participate receive a holiday arrangement from Wolf Floral, discounts for decorations at local retailers and a dinner.
Anyone in the community willing to help needs to contact the Chamber by Friday at 653-3272, as the announcement whether the event will be held or not will be made Friday.
