The Lone Tree Lions were looking for back to back victories when they took the court Monday evening.The Lions traveled to Danville for a Southeast Iowa Super Conference match with the Bears.

It was a back and forth match, with the Lions ultimately dropping the contest in five sets (19-25, 25-18, 13-25, 25-17, 18-16). Senior Kayla Becker had 13 kills and 10 blocks in the victory for the Bears. The loss drops Lone Tree’s record to 7-15 overall as the Lions have now lost three of their previous five matches. For the Danville Bears their overall record improved to 8-15 and the victory snapped a two-match losing streak.

Lone Tree will have a quick turnaround between matches. They are on the floor tonight in Winfield taking on the Winfield-Mount Union Wolves.
