Does your teenager do drugs? A free test kit can be sent to your home through Test My Teen. Shawn Ellingson with the Washington Police Department explains the police department is not invovled and does not know who orders the tests, but provides the vouchers for the program. The tests arrive at random times and test for a variety of drugs including marijuana, amphetamines and barbiturates. Ellingson describes this as a tool for parents as it gives children a reason to not do drugs.
