The Lone Tree Lions volleyball team returns to the court looking for back to back match wins.

The Lions will head to Danville this evening for a Southeast Iowa Super Conference matchup with the Bears. The Lions come into the contest 7-14 overall, but are playing much better of late. Lone Tree has won three of its last five matches, including a straight set win against Pekin (25-21, 25-15, 25-21) last Thursday. Sophomore Elena Sieverding had a team leading six kills, while sophomore Liz Dodson had a team high 22 digs in the victory.

The Bears come into the matchup 7-15 overall on the year, with a two-match losing streak. The Bears fell in straight sets last Tuesday to Central Lee (24-26, 20-25, 16-25).
