The Sigourney-Keota Cobras sent their nine seniors off with a quality victory.The Cobras welcomed in the West Marshall Trojans to town for the regular season finale.

The Cobra’s rushing attack continued to execute effectively and Sigourney-Keota ran away with a 48-14 win over West Marshall. The Cobras amassed 411 total offensive yards, with 335 of those being rushing yards. Junior Peyton Crawford had 192 yards on 16 carries and scored four touchdowns in the victory. Crawford finishes the regular season with 1547 yards and 20 touchdowns. Head football coach Jared Jensen says the offensive line has played tremendous for much of the season, especially opening holes the last three weeks.

“Some of the holes that Peyton (Crawford) and Nate (Sieren) are big enough to literally drive a semi through.” Jensen said

The win improves Sigourney-Keota to 5-4 overall and the Cobras were award the district’s fourth seed. They are set to play the undefeated West Branch Bears in their postseason opener Wednesday evening.
