Red Ribbon Week kicks off today and as part of the campaign the Washington Police Department is teaming up with the Washington schools. Shawn Ellingson states an informational meeting for parents will be held tonight for the Test My Teen program which provides free, anonymous at home drug tests. He explains the tests arrive at random times and test for a variety of drugs including marijuana, amphetamines and barbiturates.

Ellingson describes this as a tool for parents as it gives children a reason to not do drugs.
