A total lunar eclipse will be visible tomorrow morning. The event begins at around 3:15, with the total eclipse occurring at 5:25 and lasting for about an hour. The eclipse occurs when the Moon passes directly behind the Earth. This only happens when the Sun, Earth and full Moon are aligned. According to NASA, the moon will turn a shade of red when it passes into the Earth’s shadow. Mostly clear skies are in the forecast for the duration of the eclipse.
