The WACO Warriors volleyball team ended their season on a high note Tuesday evening. The 14-16 WACO Warriors traveled to Louisa-Muscatine Community Schools for a Southeast Iowa Super Conference matchup with the Falcons.

This was the second contest between the two schools as WACO won the first matchup in straight sets (21-10, 21-19) back in the New London Tournament on October 4th. In their second meeting, WACO proved to be too much as they once again beat Louisa Muscatine in straight sets (25-11, 25-19, 25-18). WACO senior Aaliyah Brown had a team high seven kills, while senior Erika Leichty had two kills and 11 digs in the victory.

The win improves WACO’s record to 15-16 overall. The Warriors will now head to the regional tournament as they will face Notre Dame on Tuesday in Burlington.
