The regular season ended on a sour note for the Washington Demon volleyball team Tuesday evening.The Demons welcomed in Southeast Conference foe Fort Madison to town for a match.

Fort Madison went on several runs throughout the match, and would ultimately take the contest in straight sets (14-25, 10-25, 16-25).

The victory improves Fort Madison’s overall record to 28-10 on the season. The loss drops Washington to 5-22 overall.

The Demons enter regional play next Tuesday at home against Davenport North.
