The Winfield-Mount Union Wolves will look to get back on the winning track this evening in the school’s homecoming game.

The 3-2 Wolves welcome back the alumi for a district showdown with a Southeast Iowa Super Conference member in the 2-3 New London Tigers. Last Friday, Winfield-Mount Union had their three game winning streak snapped in a 42-30 loss to conference and district rival Lone Tree. Junior quarterback Kolt Rossister threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns against the Lions. However, his three interceptions helped Lone Tree secure the victory.

New London comes into tonight’s game on a current two game losing streak. Last Friday, the Tigers fell to Danville at home 21-14. In order to end the losing streak, the Tigers will need more production out of their offense. New London has scored 21 combined points in their previous two games.
