The Pekin Panther volleyball team have five players named to the all-conference team by the coaches of the Southeast Iowa Super Conference. The selections include two players to the first team, one to the second team, and two players being named honorable mention selections.

Senior Whitney Horras was named to the all-conference first team as a setter. Horras finished as the Panther’s leader in assists (438), and defensively dug up 68 balls this season. Junior Beth Atwood joins Horras on the first team as an all-conference hitter. Atwood had a team leader in kills (177), and was third on the team in serve efficiency (93%).

Junior Cassidy Tolle was named to the all-conference second team as a hitter. Tolle finished first on the team in aces (33) and second on the team in kills (142).

Seniors Madelyn Baker and Shelbie Williams were named as all-conference honorable mention selections. Baker finished fourth on the team in both kills (90) and digs (87).  Williams finished second on the team in blocks (37) and third on the team in kills (105).

Pekin finished the 2014 season 15-8 overall, including a 6-3 conference record.
