An individual who has served on the  Henry County Board of Supervisors for the last 16 years will serve another term. Marc Lindeen was reelected on Tuesday, and is now entering his fifth term. Lindeen began serving on the board in 1998, and has been a farmer in Henry County since 1972. Lindeen says his interest in politics began at an early age. While visiting the county courthouse for a class field trip in the sixth grade, he asked a question that pertained to his family’s farm and didn’t like the answer he was given. The republican was challenged by chair of the county’s democratic party, Mary Hoyer.
