Washington’s 20th Annual Lighted Holiday Parade will be held later this month. Sarah Sadrakula, Director of Main Street Washington, who is helping organize the event states registration is now open for the local tradition. Sadrakula invites anyone in the community to create a float and they are hoping to increase the number of floats from last year.

The parade is held each year the Friday after Thanksgiving, so this year it will be held at 6 p.m. November 28th. The floats are judged and the only request is that no representation of Santa be on the float, as Santa ends the parade each year and brings in the Christmas season.
