Washington Demons will perform The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe tomorrow evening. Approximately 30 Washington Middle School students are producing the show and are on stage and behind the scenes. The play is directed by teacher Abby Heim. She explains it is a process to get the sixth, seventh and eighth graders ready for opening night, as this is the first stage experience most of the students have had. Heim teaches the students about stage presence, enunciating lines and that acting uses facial expressions and body language.

Heim encourages community members to attend tomorrow’s show and support theater at the middle school. The play will be held tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at the Washington Middle School and admission is a free-will donation.
