The Washington boys basketball team looked in mid-season form offensively Friday evening in Wayland.Washington had four players score in double figures as Demons 70-51 victory over the WACO Warriors in the Hall of Pride Scrimmage at Bob Hilmer Court.

Demon senior Thomas Bump and junior Derrick Anding had 16 points a piece in the victory. Senior Gage Redlinger added 13 points, while Blake Wiedman had 10 in the victory. The game really shifted in the second quarter, when Washington outscored WACO 17-1 to take a 34-13 lead into the locker room.

Freshman BJ Rodgers led the Warriors in scoring with 12 points, all coming in the second half. Senior Tucker Janecek added nine points in the loss.

The two teams have over a week until their regular season debut. Washington opens the season Dec 2nd in Wellman against the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks. WACO also begins the season Dec 2nd, but they will be in Mediapolis for a matchup with the Bulldogs.
