This afternoon in special session the Washington City Council will discuss goals for the city. Issues that may be discussed include aging infrastructure, housing, economic development, city facilities including City Hall upgrades, the budget and staffing.

A review of accomplishments is also included in tonight’s meeting packet which highlights the LED conversion in downtown lights, the implementation of the water facility plan, sewer projects, street improvements and have a codified five-foot wide sidewalk for new construction in the subdivision ordinance. Today’s goal setting meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the Washington Public Library.
