Students have taken final exams and turned in term papers, now professors are grading and submitting final marks – the first term at the Kirkwood Washington Regional Center is complete. Director of the center, Tera Pickens, states the term went smoothly, with a few minor hiccups with scheduling.

She adds community involvement is something they’ve worked to incorporate in the classrooms and hope to continue to add more opportunities. For example, the Corn Country Cruisers held a classic car show for students in the automotive academy.

Pickens add now is the time to consider enrolling in courses for spring and next fall. For more information listen to today’s Washington Page.
