The Highland girls’ basketball team is off to a strong start in the first half of the season with a 7-2 record.
Highland has three athletes averaging in double figures so far this season. Chelsey Lampe leads the team with 13.4 points per game and is tied for second in the state with 55 steals. Cheyanne Adamson is averaging 12 points and Kelsey Hora is averaging 10.1 points.
Huskies coach Jodi Fink says even though with the great start to the season there is still work to be done, “Our focus on the rest of the season is putting four full quarters together and being able to finish off teams and games.”
Highland starts a three-game home stretch to start the second half portion of their schedule. They play next on January 6th at home against WACO.
