The annual Washington Holiday Concert for Children is this evening. The concert is put on by the high school band and according to high school band director Don Hughes there will be guest appearances by former band directors and the Stewart Holiday Singers. Music includes selections from the movie Frozen, old favorites such as The Little Drummer Boy and You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch.

The concert ends with the 2nd grade Stewart Holiday Singers joining the high school students for what Hughes has called “the Ultimate Christmas Sing-a-long.”

Tonight’s event begins at 7 p.m. with doors open at 6:30 p.m. at the Washington Community Center, all seats are $5 and school activity passes are accepted. The Music Boosters are holding a bake sale and silent auction prior to and following the performance.
