The Iowa Mennonite School (0-3) girl’s basketball team is back home for tonight’s game against the undefeated Highland Huskies (4-0). IMS is coming off of tough game against WACO where they were only able to score five points in the first quarter, and played catch up the entire game.
Highland is coming into IMS looking very sharp as a team, winning by a average margin of 23.5 points per game.
Head coach Aaron Gingerich says though Highland will be tough, history is on their side, “We have had some success against them the past couple of games. We know each other, the girls know how they play and how we want to play.” IMS has won the last three games against Highland dating back to the 2012-2013 basketball season.
You can listen to the game tonight with the Washington Hy-Vee Pregame show starting at 5:45 p.m. on AM1380, FM102.5 and on KCIIradio.com.
