Two local volleyball players were named to the third team all state volleyball team for Class 1A.

Keota’s Senior Madison Sheetz was one player that got voted in and was a key contributor for the Keota Volleyball team going 18-7 in the season. This is the first time Sheetz has gotten all state team state honors finishing the season with 314 kills and 48 aces.

The other player was Sigourney’s Joradn Carter getting third team state honors with this been her second time been mentioned for this honor. Carter helped Sigourney get 12-12 record this past season. She finished the year with 344 kills and 61 aces.
