The Keota School Board will consider its options for restructuring the district’s administrative staff next month. Keota Superintendent Mark Schneider says it’s possible a decision will be made at the board’s meeting in February. The board began this discussion at their November meeting.

One of the options they went over in November involves consolidating the district’s two principal positions into one role that oversees all grades. Other options discussed would have ended the superintendent sharing agreement with Mid-Prairie School District. These options were presented before the Keota and Mid-Prairie school boards agreed to continue sharing Mark Schneider’s services for the 2015-2016 school year.
