Louisa County Conservation is planning to keep students busy during their winter break. Brittney Tiller is a naturalist with Louisa County Conservation and is leading the winter nature camps.

She says the lack of snow will change what they had planned initially, but that won’t stop them from enjoying the beauty of Langwood Education Center. Hiking on the conservation area’s trails is one way she’ll keep the kids active.

Tiller says since it is winter, they’ll be able to leave the trails and explore some of the areas populated by poison ivy,  and vegetation that would be damaged by foot traffic, during the summer.
