The Mid-Prairie boys and girls basketball teams head to North Cedar High School Stanwood tonight. The Mid-Prairie girls are coming off of a big win against Washington Tuesday, 44-30.The Lady Hawks were able to dominate inside thanks to the play of senior Taylor Kurtz and sophomore Ireland Hostetler. Kurtz had 14 points and seven rebounds while Hostetler had eight points, seven rebounds and three blocks.
The Mid-Prairie boys basketball team they hopes for a win against the Knights tonight after a tough game against Washington in their season opener. The Golden Hawks outscored 25-3 in the first quarter and were playing catch up for the rest of the game. The final score was 58-35. The Golden Hawk boys are looking to get their first victory tonight over the 0-1 North Cedar Knights.
Game for the Mid-Prairie girls will begin tonight at 7:00 p.m. and the boys will begin at 8:30 p.m.
