Mid-Prairie and Keota school districts will likely continue sharing a superintendent next school year. The Mid-Prairie School Board committed to continuing the current arrangement at their meeting last night. The Keota School Board is set to do the same at their meeting on Thursday. According to Mid-Prairie School Board President, Jim Hussey, the non-legal binding commitment to continue sharing Mark Schneider was signed by six out of the seven members present. Hussey adds the 28-E agreement, which is legally binding, received approval from both school boards during a joint meeting held last month.
