The Mid-Prairie boys basketball team went to West Liberty as both teams were looking to get their first victory of the season. It was a game heard on AM1380, FM102.5 and on KCIIradio.com
Mid-Prairie would falter in the game losing with a score of 48-43. Both offenses struggled in the first half with the score 8-5 West Liberty at the end of the first quarter. At halftime the score stayed close West Liberty having the lead 20-15. The third quarter would be a quarter the would hurt the Golden Hawks in the game. The Comets outscored Mid-Prairie 19-10 in the third making the score 39-25 after three quarters. The Golden Hawks did comeback in the fourth making it a three point game with under forty seconds in the game. The Golden Hawks would run out of time in the comeback and will fall short.
