The Mid-Prairie girls basketball team traveled to North Cedar High School in Stanwood and were looking for their second win after winning their home opener against Washington. The Lady Hawks would pull off the victory with a score of 49-36. It was a close game by halftime with Mid-Prairie holding on to a slim lead 16-14. Mid-Prairie would win the third and fourth quarter outscoring North Cedar 33-22. Taylor Kurtz and Alex Rath both finished the game with 13 points. Ail Butters got nine points, four rebounds to finish out the contest. Ireland Hosteler had six points, four rebounds, and four blocks. Mid-Prairie goes to 2-1 in the season and will head to West Branch on Tuesday.
