The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks wrestling team went to Bellevue yesterday to take on Bellevue, Midland, and North Cedar.
Mid-Prairie won against Bellevue 48-30. However, they lost their other two duals in a close match with Midland 42-40 and 45-36 against North Cedar.
Duncan McCain (113) went 3-0 in the duals winning all by falls.
The Golden Hawks will go to the North Linn Invitational on Saturday. Teams in the invitational include, North Linn, Marion, Cedar Rapids Prairie, Clear Creek Amana, Wilton and Center Point-Urbana.
The Meet will being at 8 a.m. at North Linn High School.
