The Mid-Prairie (0-3) boys’ basketball team will look to get their first victory of the season as they travel to play the (0-2) West Liberty Comets.
Both teams have struggled so far this season with Mid-Prairie losing by an average of 24 points per game and West Liberty losing by an average of 31.5 points.
Between the two schools the Golden Hawks are 3-4 against the Comets since 2012. Mid-Prairie was 2-1 last year against West Liberty.
Colon Weber and Devon Young had eight points in the Golden Hawks’ last game. They will have to do a better job of not turning the ball over with Mid-Prairie turning the ball over 23 times in their most recent loss.
You can catch the boys basketball game right after the Mid-Prairie girls basketball match on KCII with the Washington Hy-Vee pregame show tonight on AM1380, FM102.5 and on KCIIradio.com.
