The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls’ basketball team fell short to Camanche last night. It was a close game throughout, but the Lady Hawks lost 48-44. Mid-Prairie found themselves down by one basket at halftime with a score of 21-18. The third quarter was the Lady Hawk’s best quarter, scoring 16 points and only giving up seven points. The score at the end of the third quarter was 34-27, Mid-Prairie with the lead. In the fourth Camanche took back control, scoring 20 points with the Lady Hawks scoring only 10 points.

Mid-Prairie was led by Ali Riggan with 14 points followed by Taylor Kurtz had 11 points and eight rebounds. The Lady Hawks fall to 4-4 overall and will have a long lay off without a game until Friday, January 2nd, when they host Durant.
