The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks were looking for their first win of the season at home last night against Tipton. It was a game heard on AM1380, FM102.5 and on KCIIradio.com. The win would not come last night for the Golden Hawks as they would lose to the Tigers 89-54.
The game was very competitive in the first half with Mid-Prairie down just three points at half time 32-29. The second half was a completely different story as the Tigers dominated the entire second half, outscoring the Golden Hawks by 32 points 57-25.
Mid-Prairie did find success with sophomore post player Caleb Statler who scored 15 points in the game. Nolan Faselt scored 11 points and Colin Weber netted nine points. Noah Altenhofen helped off the bench scoring seven points.
