The Mid-Prairie and Keota school boards have agreed to sharing a superintendent for another school year. The non-legally binding written commitment to continue sharing was signed by members of the Keota School Board at their recent meeting. Members of the Mid-Prairie Board did the same at their meeting last Monday.
Mid-Prairie School Board President Jim Hussey says the legally binding 28-E sharing agreement received approval from both school boards during a joint meeting held last month.
In addition to sharing Superintendent Mark Schneider, the districts share a school nurse, librarian/technology support position and a human resources coordinator.
