Area 4-H’ers have the chance to go on an overnight trip to Omaha in March. Students will visit the Henry Doorly Zoo, the Strategic Air and Space Museum, and the Durham Museum. Washington County 4-H coordinator Amy Green adds participants will have unique sleeping accommodations, as they will stay the night at the zoo at the penguin exhibit.

Washington County 7th, 8th, and 9th grade 4-H’ers are invited to attend the Region 15 4-H Intermediate Trip to Omaha, Nebraska, in March. Students from Iowa, Keokuk and Johnson counties will also take part in the trip.

Space is limited and registration is now available at the Washington County Extension Office or online. There is a $210 fee for the Marth 13th and 14th trip, which covers tickets, transportation, and lodging.
