The Washington Community School Board made an offer to a superintendent candidate this morning and the offer was accepted. Superintendent Dr. Mike Jorgensen explains that at the request of the individual, the name of the new superintendent will be released tomorrow. The individual wants to notify his board, staff and community of the decision personally.

The three finalists were William Stone with the Corning and Villisca Community School Districts, Jeff Dicks with the Newell-Fonda School District and the Albert City-Truesdale Community School District, and Larry Hunt with the Dike-New Hartford School District. KCII News will bring you more information as it becomes official.
