The Iowa Mennonite School girls’ basketball team (3-13) batteled at home in a southeastern conference game with Louisa Muscatine (3-14) last night. As you heard on AM 1380, FM 102.5 and on KCIIradio.com IMS fell to L-M with a score of 34-28.
Iowa Mennonite’s offense couldn’t muster much in the first half only scoring 12 points. However, the defense kept them in the basketball game with L-M up 18-12 at halftime. The IMS offense continued to struggle in the second half scoring only 16 points with L-M scoring the same amount.
IMS was led on offense by senior Riley Schmieder who had a solid performance with 15 points to finish the game.
Iowa Mennonite School will play at Mediapolis (16-0) tomorrow to take on the Bulettes.
