The Iowa Mennonite Girls’ basketball team played in a South East Iowa Super Conference Matchup last night as they took on Columbus Community. As you heard on AM 1380, Fm 102.5 and on KCIIradio.com IMS would fall short in the game with the final score been 45-41.
IMS got a great performance from senior Riley Schmieder haven her best offensive perfomance of the year scoring 22 points and was 10-12 from the chairty stripe. Columbus’s Kelsey Pretz was just as advertised scoring 26 points. Pretz moved into third in school history in points and fourth in career steals.
IMS will play tonight at home against English Valleys.
