The Iowa Mennonite School’s girls’ basketball team (3-10) is heading to Columbus Junction (9-4) in a Southeast Iowa Super Conference against the Wildcats.
IMS is currently on a two-game losing streak. During this two game stretch they have totaled 19 and 12 points respectively. They will look to senior Riley Schmeider to get the offense going, as she leads the team in points per game with 13.1 points.
Columbus Community is currently having a successful season with a 9-4 record thanks in large part to their star player senior Kelsey Pertz. She is averaging 19.4 points per game, 7.7 rebounds per game and shoots 54 percent from the field.
These two teams have already played once this season with the victory going to the Wildcats at IMS 50-33.
